Best Behaved in the Premiership!

Okay, so we may not be in the running to win any silverware this season and we certainly didn`t trouble the silver polishers last season but, for a change, we do have something to celebrate.

During a season whereby arrests for football hooliganism rose, our quaint little club by the River Thames can shout loudly from the roof tops that

"We are the best behaved supporters in the Premier League!"

Whilst the so-called giants of English football, Manchester United and Chelsea, racked up 192 and 135 arrests respectively our almost immaculately behaved fans barely troubled the scorers with a measly 8 arrests throughout the whole of the 2006-2007 season.

Raise your glasses folks, we may not be amongst the biggest clubs in the premier League but we sure know how to behave!

It might be interesting if the figures were done as a percentage of arrests compared to the atendance, you might not be so well behaved then :-)
