'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Sharing the Mail Box!

I thought I might have put the cat amongst the pigeons with a recent article and so it proved so.

Here`s one response I received from a gentleman called Graham who, as it turns out, shared my fears.

Here`s what Graham wrote and I sincerely hope he doesn`t take umbrage to me using it for an article.

As a regular visitor to this site, I thought I`d take the opportunity to contact you regarding your recent article relating to our forthcoming fixtures.

My opinion is that you were right to highlight the potential predicament we face in the weeks ahead. It`s imperative that we, as a club, start to pick up three points on a regular basis. With games against Derby, Sunderland and Reading followed by fixtures against some of the big guns, I can`t help feeling tat you missed the chance to press home a very interesting point.

If you look at the Premier League table, we`ve played nine games, winning one, drawing four and losing four and accumulating seven points. If that pattern were to be repeated throughout the remainder of the season, with Fulham averaging 0.777 points per game our total come next May would be in the region of twenty-nine to thirty points. It doesn`t take a genius to work out what that would mean!

Thirty points = relegation = Championship!

Start to turn it around lads!

we should worry, but we still need to think that some of our best players are on the hospital trips and come christmas "as they all seem to be aiming for" we should have our strongest team to choose from. its a shame but bouazza has been great on the left wing so cook might not even get his rightfull place on the left, there could be a revolt if sanchez dosen't play bullard and moriz voltz should play but with the irish invasion he might not. i think that kamara was a rip-off and healy should play with bouazza up front. ohh and what happend to bastista i thought he had a good future with us?

were you not warned about Kamara by the Pompey boys?

We've only got 2 decent players on 'hospital trips' and yes McBride and Bullard may be back for Christmas, but how effective will they be? I would have thought we will not see either getting back to their best form before Jan or Feb and that may be too late.

i couldn't agree more, the next three games will shape our future, of that I have no doubt!
