'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Action Not Words Needed!

I probably wasn`t the only one with raised eyebrows when Lawrie Sanchez bought Kasey Keller back to the Premier League.

The ex-Spurs keeper, at thirty-seven, is no spring chicken and with Anti Niemi and Tony Warner both at the club it seemed to be one too many cook ready to spoil the broth.

Thankfully, I`ve been mistaken, the keeper has shown that there is life in the old dog yet and had produced some sparkling displays in the face of adversity.

Sadly, these are trying times for Fulham. We sit in the relegation zone and we need to start stringing some results together, points that have not been lost on the American who in a recent interview had this to say,

'We need to cut out the little things we're doing wrong because we're a good team, we just need to get it together, start clicking and put teams under more pressure."

"We're a little too nice and we need to get nastier."

'We've got some big games coming up after the break and we need to put a good run together - get at least seven points from three games and go from there.'

Ideal sentiments to put into words but I can`t help thinking we`re need to put these thoughts into action.

seven points from the next three games Derby, Sunderland and Reading is a neccessity if we're to survive!
Putney
Interestingly, if we fail to get seven points our next four games are Liverpool (a), Blackburn (h), Man United (a) and Everton (a) - squeaky bum time!
