Volz / Baird Conundrum!

The two week break courtesy of the forthcoming international break gives Lawrie Sanchez an option when the squad re-assembles for the Derby County fixture.

It is widely expected that Mortiz Volz (a rumoured January transfer target for some clubs) will be ready for consideration for selection for the starting eleven.

With Chris Baird, currently going through something of a bad spell, highlighted by his mistake that allowed Herman Hreidarsson to score Portsmouth`s second goal on Sunday, this could be the chance for Sanchez to give Volz a run out in the defence.

I guess time will prove us right or wrong!

I somehow doubt that he'd drop one of his signings to play a player from the Coleman era!

fair enough point and I think the crowd have unfairly got on Bairds back in recent games! Give him a chance!

that's the trouble when yer doomed, people have no patience!

yeah but baird has been shoddy since we got him, i haven't seen his apparent best yet and i think that Volz was a great defender and he's still quite young

"Concrete Feet" Chris Baird already had around a dozen chances. It's funny how he always seems to be on the bad end of someone else's highlight reel.
Chupacabra
time for a rest for Baird then?
