The First January Transfer Target?

With the January transfer window slowly looming over the horizon, rumours are already circulating as to who Lawrie Sanchez will be looking to bring in to further strengthen the squad.

Today`s suggestion is that Fulham are preparing to get involved in a three way fight for the Czech international Jiri Jarosik.

Jiri, currently at Glasgow Celtic, has advised their manager, Gordon Strachan, that he wants to leave, indeed, it would appear that a move lined up for him in August collapsed at the last minute.

Jarosik has formerly played for Chelsea and Birmingham in the Premiership and the midfield player, now twenty-nine, could be a good acquisition.

All that remains now is to hold off the other teams who are reportedly in the race, namely Middlesbrough and Portsmouth.

I'm not sure he really had a chance at our place, just as he looked the part in pre-season he was sold on!

a striker that hasnn't even played that well at celtic, and we want him!?!?
Backslash2010
he's a midfielder but I wouldn't see him as a first choice, more of a back up!
