'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dempsey and that Terry Injury!

With John Terry retiring from the action yesterday with a fractured cheekbone, there was always going to be a dose of the blame culture afterwards.

The Israeli who`s now in charge of Chelsea, Avram Grant, had this to say,

"I have not seen a recording of it but the players said it was an elbow."

Thankfully, Lawrie Sanchez sees things differently remarking,

"Clint is a strong player and so is John Terry. I`m sure it was not malicious. Clint is not that type of character."

We here at Vital Fulham would prefer to stick with what Lawrie has said, however, we`re sure that if it was intentional Clint would have been sorted by the officials!

stray, unfortunate elbow if you ask me!

Less of a stray than Drogba's boot on Baird, IMO. But Chelsea were effectively punished for both accidents. Nice work, Mr. Atkinson (first name 'Rowan'?).

to be honest I didn't see it, to paraphrase Arsene Wenger!
