Fulham lose to referee I mean Bolton

Stelios Giannakopoulos fired Bolton into the Carling Cup fourth round with an extra time winner but under suspicious circumstances as he appeared to push Paul Konchesky before slotting the ball home.

So yet again Fulham have lost to another refereeing decision, not to mention the goal that never was.

Bolton had the first chance of the game but Braaten headed at Keller. Bouazza had a free saved by Ali Al Habsi whilst Murphy fired just wide.

Then Daniel Braaten who looked offside found himself one on one with Keller only for the American keeper to save.

In the second half however Bolton did take the lead with a twenty five yard strike from debutant Danny Guthrie.

Braaten and Dempsey both had chances for their side but then substitute Healy equalized to bring the game into extra time.

Healy and substitute Kamara both hit the woodwork in extra time and there was controversy in the 97th minute when Kamara latched on to a Healy shot to poke the ball over the line only for the referee to disallow it. Replays conclusively showed the Senegal striker was onside.

Vital Man of the Match - Kasey Keller

Vital Villains - Fulham fans who booed Chris Baird, pathetic morons.
