Sanchez Faces Rap!

If speaking your mind and subsequently the truth is sufficient to get you on a charge then perhaps I should thank the Lord I`m not a football manager.

Last night, as we crashed out of the Carling Cup to struggling Bolton, we clearly had a bloody good goal disallowed. It was a goal that would have had a considerable impact on the outcome. Instead we`re left to contemplate the fact that a chance of a rare trip to Wembley has once again passed us by.

It`s no wonder that Lawrie Sanchez almost exploded in his post match interview.

This is part of what he had to say,

"I`m getting fed up with refs who come too little old Fulham and disallow goals for no apparent reason."

"Kamara was two yards onside when Healy hit it. It`s another goal a referee hasn`t given us. It`s bloody ridiculous. These refs are costing us week in, week out. They`re not up to the job and something has to be done about it."

Something will be done about it Lawrie!

You`ll be hauled up in front of the authorities and put on a charge. It`s plainly easier to do that than correct the errors at source. Now that would be far too difficult wouldn`t it?

i totally agree here with sanchez and yourself on this one as they do take the easy route and punish managers even when they are clearly right! i know each team has gripes with the refs but last season we (blackburn) had some terrible decisions go against and it *****ed me off no end!

THis is the biggets sport in the country and its worth billions of pounds disicions like these shouldn't be up to stupid f***ing men to decide there is video refs in Rugby, Cricket and even Tennis. why on earth isn't it in football
