'If It's Football, It's Vital'

A First Glance Towards Chelsea!

Many Fulham supporters are already looking beyond tonight`s Carling Cup tie and towards the fixture with Chelsea this weekend.

Many feel that, due to their current problems, Chelsea are there for the taking and may feel that it`s about time Fulham became the dominant team in the borough.

A win at Stamford Bridge would prove sweet, it`d be a time for celebration and it`s something that our manager, Lawrie Sanchez, is acutely aware of.

Ahead of our tie with Bolton, this is what Lawrie told the assembled journalists,

"We need to get through this third-round tie in the competition."

"If we do that we go to Chelsea in the league on Saturday in good form and you never know what can happen."

"We have quality in the side but there is a lot we still have to iron out. If we can get the defensive problems out of our system we are good enough going forward to really make an impact."

An impact that will push our big brother further into decline perhaps!
