'If It's Football, It's Vital'

I quite liked Mourinho!

Watching the carnage evolve down the other end of the Fulham Road, I can`t help but admit I admire the Portuguese gentleman.

After living in the shadow of their success, I guess I should hate him with a vengeance, after all, you try living in the back pockets of an office full of Chelsea supporting staff.

Nevertheless, Mourinho formed a sort of bond with Chris Coleman, our ex-manager. He didn`t have to, after all Coleman was never gong to trouble him in the trophy stakes was he?

But Mourinho obviously spotted something in Coleman, perhaps he saw him as something of a prodigy in the harsh world of football.

Now he`s gone, football will not be the same. It`ll lack some of the colour, some of the passion and some of the fervour he generates.

Therefore on behalf of, what I suspect will be the minority, I`d like to wish Jose success wherever he ends up.

he was one of the best managers in the prem he was only sacked because he wouldn't be Abromovich's lapdog good on him and £25mil isn't a bad payoff
