In our latest poll supplied by my co-editor, Mike, the question was posed relating to which non-signing disappointed you the most this summer.
With Fulham seemingly hogging the transfer market and making a record number of signings it was perhaps inevitable that we`d be linked to some players and not be successful in signing them.
Out of all of these, Mike chose five names to try and entice you to vote, those names being Kyle Lafferty, Jason Roberts, Joe Anyon, Walter Pandiani and Charles N`Zogbia.
In a close run poll it was the Newcastle star, Charles N`Zogbia that turned out to be the player you`d most like to see in the white of Fulham. N`Zogbia who polled exactly 50% of the vote, seemed to be on the verge of a move to Craven Cottage but recent events suggest it`ll not now happen with the player having recently signed an extended contract at St James Park.
In second place was another powerful player in the form of Jason Roberts. The Blackburn striker, who polled 33% of the vote also seemed destined for Craven Cottage but clearly the persuasive tongue of Mark Hughes persuaded him otherwise.
In remaining three candidates lagged a fair way behind the front two polling as follows - Kyle Lafferty - 7%, Joe Anyon - 6% and Walter Pandiani - 4%
