The Crazy World of Zat Knight!

The Crazy World of Zat Knight!

I guess that Wednesday the 29th August 2007 will go down in Zat Knight`s diary as a day to remember!

It was a day of high drama, a day that offered the highs and lows few of us can ever experience.

Having driven up to his native Birmingham in order to take a medical prior to signing for Aston Villa, Zat was rudely awaken, if the stories in the papers are to be believed, by a Police raid on the premises he was staying in.

As early as 05:35 he was handcuffed and led away with several others, by 14:30 he was broadly smiling as he fulfilled a boyhood dream by signing for the team he`d supported since a lad.

A move that had him remarking,

"I know Villa have always been the team I wanted to play for but I didn`t see it coming."

Now we here at Vital Fulham would like to know whether that would be the signing or the cuffing?

When you recall the fact he`s already been embroiled in a bout of high-jinx with his brother that resulted in him sustaining a broken jaw and we potentially have a candidate for a television serial!

I wonder what Martin O`Neill makes of it all.
