Sanchez Fumes after Villa Loss!

After losing out on a share of the spoils in the dying seconds of the clash at Villa Park, Lawrie Sanchez had a few choice words to say about the match.

Much of his anger was directed at the referee, Steve Bennett, with Lawrie proclaiming,

"I`ve seen the penalty this time. It was bang to rights and clearly handball. It would have put us 2-0 up - and I think we could have held on to a 2-0 lead."

Lawrie then went on to bemoan the fact we`re having trouble holding on to a lead, remarking,

"We`ve led three times and lost and we are in a bit of bit of a predicament at the moment. But we`re having no luck whatsoever. This is another major error by referees. They`re having as a time as goalkeepers at the moment."

At Vital Fulham we wait with baited breath to see if Steve Bennett will offer us an apology or is it only Liverpool that gets that kind of preferable treatment!

But if we had of led by 2 goals, we would have gone on to win and Villa wouldn't of had a look in. Its all relative.

IF, thats a BIG IF, you had scored past Carson if awarded a penalty.

were the disallowed goals god un's then?
merlin
perfectly alright only sadly lacking a decent ref and linesman to give them!!!! wouldnt have had a look in?? i think fulham tried their best to shut up shop 2nd half and couldnt do it because either they are not good enough defensively or they just couldnt handle villa attacking.hate managers coming out with weak excuses every time things dont go there way like bruce who does it every week, benitez and sanchez who i am just remembering wheeled out the wonderful excuse after the match that they have a few players injured too! lol.

Got to say that was the worst away following at Villa Park since I can remember when. Did you all travel in the same car?
Jon.H
probably on the same moped!

If you hadn't wasted so much time you might have had enough time to get an equaliser
AVTAFFY
harsh but doesn't everybody resort to that tactic?

Ashley Young made Baird look silly all day long! Tough luck for the Cottagers so far this season, though.
