Fulham Pursue Lafferty (again!)

With Steven Howard, the Derby County striker, put in the frame as a possible replacement for the injured Brian McBride yesterday, another name has returned to the fore today!

It is that of the Burnley striker, Kyle Lafferty!

You may recall that Fulham had a bid turned down by Burnley in the close season with a fee of £2 million having been the figure reputedly offered.

At the time Burnley suggested he wasn`t for sale, however, it`d be interesting to see if an increased offer could tempt Burnley to part with their Northern Irishman.

If so, Lafferty would become the fifth Northern Irishman to join an ever expanding Fulham squad.

orange! what were Healy's goals like?
Putney
They were rather good. The first was a very cleaver header at the front post, and the second was pure class!! The ball went straight to him about 30 yards out he ran with it till he was about 5 yards outside the area, he then struck it with his left foot (weaker one!!) and it curled into the top left corner (keepers right). It was a beuty!!
