Baird Refutes WAG Claim!

Baird Refutes WAG Claim!

With Roy Keane seemingly embarking on a one-man crusade relating to the infamous collection of WAGS that have infiltrated football, one player has fired a broadside back.

Chris Baird, our recent signing from Southampton, was originally linked to a move to Sunderland. In fact, it could be perceived that Baird`s decision to move to London (Fulham) instead of the north-east could fall into the broadside fired by Keane.

However, Baird has been keen to ensure such an assumption isn`t made and although he`s admitted talking to Keane wants it know that,

"Not once did I go up there, despite what was reported. Fulham wanted me more and came in with a better offer."

Nicely put Chris, nicely put!
