It`s All Liam`s Fault?

It would appear that Lawrie Sanchez isn`t that interested in keeping Liam Rosenior.

The popular full back, who was an ever-present under Chris Coleman, hasn`t been picked this term and if reading between the lines was an occupation we`d suggest that Liam is seen, by Lawrie, as one of the reasons why defensively we were inadequate last year.

In a recent media interview, this is what Lawrie had to say,

"I haven`t picked on Liam but conceding sixty goals last season wasn`t good enough. We`ve spoken. I`m looking for a positive reaction. I won`t keep unhappy players."

"We`ve raised the bar on what is good enough and all the players who aren`t in the team who used to be in the team have to reach up to that bar before they play."

Raised the bar! Some will question whether conceding two goals to a poor Middlesbrough side is raising the bar?

Good enough for England U21 but not London Irish seemingly!

that's what it looks like! the whole episode is scandalous in my opinion!
Putney
Far better than Chris Baird at right back and the only cover we really have for Paul Konchesky at left back. Will be a big mistake for Sanchez to let such a prospect walk!

football is full of mistakes! Take D'Urso yesterday for example - shocking decision!
