Fulham Lose Out!

Fulham Lose Out!

One time Fulham target, Chris Brunt today looks certain to join the Championship side West Bromwich Albion.

Fulham, who reportedly bid for the exciting Northern Ireland prospect but failed to entice him to London, can only stand by and watch as a bid of £3 million looks to have secured his services.

At the time Brunt was insistent that he wanted to leave Sheffield Wednesday and it`s somewhat surprising that he`s opted for life in the Championship rather than the Premier League.

However, any desire Wednesday had of keeping hold of their man seems to have evaporated, thanks to a fat pay cheque and a statement from Sheffield Wednesday`s Chief Executive Kaven Walker who remarked,

"Chris did not want to be at the club!"

Never mind, I suppose we can`t win them all!
