Sanchez - Lehmann`s Dodgy!
Our season may have only been thirty seconds old but already we have a candidate for the funniest moment of the season.
Whilst fifty-odd thousand may have winced as Lehmann completely missed his kick the Fulham supporters inside the Emirates Stadium and those who were to witness the event on television were roaring with laughter.
The German keeper may have only slightly mis-kicked his clearance but it certainly left him with egg on his face.
However, it appears that our boss, Lawrie Sanchez, planned it down to the last detail.
Whilst he could never have anticipated that it would come to fruition so early, he remarked in his post match interview that,
"Jens is liable to do something silly so he is worth chasing down if you are a forward."
On reflection, it`s hard to decide who was the happiest, Sanchez for plotting the downfall or Healy for opening his Premier League account so soon into the season!
It`s just a shame events conspired to deprive us of a decent result.
