Brian McBride - 'True Pro'
Lawrie Sanchez, speaking to FulhamFc.com, has told of his decision to appoint Brian McBride as Fulham captain.
Sanchez said,'Brian`s the new Captain for the season and he`s an excellent professional,' before adding,'I didn`t want to give it to someone who`d just come into the Club and he was head and shoulders above other candidates after Michael Brown left.'
Sanchez also stated that McBride is a true professional and elder statesman on the pitch.
