Captain McBride !
American hero, Brian McBride has today been announced as Fulham Football Club captain.
McBride said, ' Lawrie asked me to be Captain today and I was delighted. Obviously the Club has quite a few good leaders in the players that were here already and also the players Lawrie has brought into the squad . ' Before adding, ' To be asked to Captain Fulham is a real honour. '
McBride, a terrace favorite, is in the last year of his contract.

I thought he might find his appearances a little restricted this year with Healy and Kamara both signed!
