'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Niemi Speaks Out!

With Lawrie Sanchez in charge the suggestion was always going to be at the forefront.

After all, Lawrie was one of the original Crazy Gang at Wimbledon.

However, our Finnish keeper, Anti Niemi, has been quick to dismiss talk that the football Fulham will be producing this season will be nothing like that Wimbledon produced.

Speaking to the media, this is what he had to say,

"The signings we have made like Steve Davis and Alexei Smertin are good footballers. The Crazy Gang thing was a long time ago."

Whilst they are fine sentiments a little piece of me wouldn`t say no to an FA Cup victory similar to that which Wimbledon achieved over Liverpool where Sanchez became an instant hero!
