Fulham Crash at Loftus Road!

Today is a day to keep yourself to yourself and don`t venture outside if you`re a Fulham fan.

Last night, we travelled to Loftus Road for a friendly against neighbouring Queens Park Rangers. On paper, with a Premiership side taking on a Championship side, it should have been a competitive match but something of a stroll score wise.

Sadly, Queens Park Rangers had other ideas and put in the kind of performance that doesn`t auger well for our hopes next season. The home side looked brighter, sharper and more at the races than a Fulham side that looked as if they had yet to properly gel.

Despite this, it was Fulham who took the lead when Brain McBride netted in the first half. In reality it should have been the prelude for a comfortable win. Queens Park Rangers had, as the second half started, also lost Walton to what looked like an awful leg injury after his studs appeared to catch in the lush turf.

Unfortunately, Queens Park Rangers put Fulham to the sword in the second half and two goals from on loan Chelsea striker, Ben Sahar (the youngest person to ever play international football for Israel) saw Fulham beaten 2-1.

The much heralded debut of Queens Park Rangers old boy, Lee Cook, took place but the winger looked a little off the pace after having only just returned to action after a knee injury and he was withdrawn at half time.

With our first fixture of the season next Sunday, against Arsenal, only eight days away, you get the feeling Lawrie Sanchez will be working the boys hard in training this week otherwise it could be a nightmarish experience at Ashburden Grove.

Just what I wanted to hear - VERY - is the answer!

If it's any consolation - we got best 3-1 there in a pre-season friendly when Ranieri was in charge!

Losing to your neighbours QPR ha ha!

Zat Knight was yet again terrible!! Bocca was aweful when he was moved to Left Back and Bouba was at fault for the second!! I thought Konchesky, Dempsey, Healy and Davis looked quite good!! Baird was solid too and one thing he has over Liam is that he can head the ball in a challenge. Cook was getting battered.

a poor night then or was there something you could salvage from it?
