Could Brunt Make Nine?

With Roy O`Donavon set to be our eighth signing of the summer, there is speculation that there could be a ninth on the way.

As the squad return home after finishing third in the Asia Cup, speculation is mounting that Lawrie Sanchez could be on the verge of making a bid for the Sheffield Wednesday winger, Chris Brunt.

According to reports coming out of Yorkshire, Brunt has snubbed the offer of a new contract with the Owls.

Rumour has linked Brunt to Craven Cottage already this summer and the media are speculating that a bid in the region of £2 million may persuade Sheffield Wednesday to sell.

And before any one asks, yes, brunt is Irish!

i know, he has said he wants to stay and get into the prem with us, but our chairmans a tosspot and wont offer him the contract he wants im only touchy as weve had the worst pre-season ive ever known, signed a bunch of nobodys, for no money, lost our best striker on a free, looks like were gunna lose our best player and we just lost 3-0 to port vale
smiggyswfc

Frisky
Well Sanchez did say he wants at least 2 players to a position and to have another Left footed winger would be great! I have also heard alot of good things about this lad!! and i dont see why you lot and smiggyswf have got into a little bitch fight! I wish Sheff wed all the best for their promotion chase and of course Fulham will stay up!!
