United to hijack Wigan's bid?

Reports emerging from the Sunday papers suggest that Sheffield United boss, Bryan Robson, wants to bring Fulham skipper and ex Sheffield United player Michael Brown back to Bramall Lane after missing out on his number one target, Thomas Gravesen.

Brown was reported to have been in Wigan undergoing a medical but interest from United might sway his decision to join the Championship club as he is a legend there and it wouldn't take long to settle himself and his family.

Browny will be most missed by very good friend and prankster Jimmy Bullard, both struck up a friendship when Brown joined last January.

Good luck Browny....

Hope these rumours are true! Would love to see Browny return!!! Not sure he'd have same impact as first time round, but he's still quality when played in the right position!
Blade1889
brown or gravesen?
Mike Forest.
Deja vous for us Wiganers...here we go again
worbo
I'd probably take Brown tbh. Gravesen's 2 years older, would be on prob twice the amount in wages and not sure if he'd want to play in Championship?
Blade1889
yeah besides browny is english, good to keep a certain aura about the squad
Mike Forest.
Rather see him go to the blades tbh!! les chance of one of our players getting injured this season!! lol. Good luck to him where ever he goes!!
