Captain anyone?

Captain anyone?

As speculation increases over the possible departure of Michael Brown to Wigan FC, there could be a captaincy place opening.

If Sanchez does decide to sell Brown for around £3 million then who would fill his place?

There are many options now available, but the one`s that look likely are the recent signings of the Northern Ireland internationals Healey, Hughes, Davis and Baird.

As Hughes captains the Northern Ireland Squad at the moment, Sanchez obviously can see Hughes leadership qualities and probably would be favourite to fill Brown`s boots.

However if Brown doesn`t leave then he may be stripped of captain anyway.

Birds Eye! Sorry can't get Ken Bates out of my head today. I'd say it'd be Hughes.
