David Healy ready

David Healy ready

David Healy told the clubs official website that he will be ready for the new campaign. Healy who only scored twenty nine goals in one hundred and eleven appearances for Leeds United also said he was sad to leave the Yorkshire club but hoped that the fans would understand.

Healy also said he expects to settle in well saying he knows at least seven players. Healy who worked excellently under Lawrie Sanchez at Northern Ireland is hoping along with Fulham fans and is confident that he can reproduce that form in the Premiership for Fulham.

Meanwhile at Fulhams press conference, Lawrie Sanchez said that he will be looking to get his Fulham side into Europe whether it's via a cup competition or a league position, he also said he will not be signing any foreign players this summer as they take too long to settle. He also hinted that Fulhams new stadium capacity could be up to twenty six thousand.

When asked if Fulham were signing Lee Cook, he replied 'We need a left winger.'

Finally he said that although they were enquries for Franck Queudrue, no official offer had been made and if there was, then they would want to recoup the three million pound fee we paid for him.

29 goals in 111 appearances isnt going to set the world on fire, but perhaps he needs quality service from premiership players to score goals.
