Sanchez Targets Rodriguez!

Sanchez Targets Rodriguez!

With six players having already been signed, rumours persist that a seventh could soon be making his way to Craven Cottage.

According to various sources Lawrie Sanchez would like ot sign the Peruvian centre back, Alberto Rodriguez.

Rodriguez, at twenty three, stared in his country`s recent performances in the Copa America. He currently plays for Sporting Braga but it is being suggested that a bid of £2.5 million could secure his services.

Speaking from his holiday base in Peru, Rodriguez is quoted as saying by the NOTW,

"I know about this news and I am happy to be linked with Fulham."

"The decision will rest with Braga because I have signed a deal with them."

"But my choice is clear. I want to play in England - simply because the Premier League is one of the best leagues in the world."

If Rodriguez does prove to be signing number seven, any ideas on number eight!
