Baird flys in

Chris Baird became Lawrie Sanchez third Northern Irish signing but could prove to be the pick of the bunch.

As reported earlier this morning by Vital Fulham, Baird did choose Fulham over Sunderland, no doubt pleasing his wife.

Fulham have now spent fourteen million pounds on transfers but with Franck Queudrue, Phillipe Christanval and Heidar Helguson all expecting to leave, the real spending will be cut down to around nine million.

Hopefully this isn't the last signing for Fulham this summer and if there is more to come you will be first to know about it.
