Niemi signs new deal.

Niemi signs new deal.

Fulhams Finnish keeper Antti Niemi has signed a new two year deal with another keeper from the Championship expected to sign soon.

Niemi who has been Fulhams saviour throughout many matches has been rewarded for his fine form.

Despite suffering a career threatening neck injury against Watford last season, the blond bomb came back with a bang and was excellent for the Cottagers, helping to keep Fulham in the Premiership.

Although Niemi is getting on, Sanchez sees him as his number one this and for several seasons to come which isn't the best of news for young Ricardo Batista who big things are expected from.

he could have walked and taken one last deal but he chose, at 33, to stay! Well done Anti.
