Davis Signs for Fulham!

Davis Signs for Fulham!

After much speculation relating to his transfer, Fulham have finally signed the Aston Villa midfielder, Steven Davis.

The twenty-two year old who has played for Lawrie Sanchez in the green shirt of Northern Ireland put pen to paper today on a four year deal.

Whilst no fee has officially been announced, we here at Vital Fulham believe it to be in the range of £4 million. Although this seems a large sum, it should be remembered that Davis has a bright future ahead of him and should give the club many years of loyal service.

On signing Davis had the following to say,

'I am pleased that we have been able to reach an agreement between the two clubs to enable me to play for Fulham next season.'

'It was decision that took a lot of consideration as I have been at Aston Villa throughout my playing career, so leaving was not an easy choice to make.'

'However, I discussed the move with the Fulham manager and we talked about his plans here, which really impressed me."

'So although it's sad to be leaving Villa, I know this is the right decision for me and my future."

We here at Vital Fulham would like to welcome Steven Davis to Craven Cottage.
