'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jason still a Rover.

Blackburn Rovers have turned down a bid of two and a half million pounds for powerful striker Jason Roberts. Sanchez who seemed keen on having a pairing of Diomansoy Kamara and Jason Roberts upfront but deals for both players seem to have stalled with Heidar Helguson not best pleased at the prospect at having to uproot his family from London and move to the midlands whilst Blackburn Rovers are reluctant to sell Roberts.

Of course, Sanchez could pull out of a deal for Kamara, sell him for two million or so to a London club and then go back in for Kamara offering just cash. As for Roberts Sanchez probably won't go over three million pounds for him.

My renewed optimism is fast becoming renewed pessimism.

sasman
He is meant to have a shocking touch?
Mike Forest.
Sasman, I am dissapointed. Roberts is a quality player and I am glad that Hughesy has turned down Fulham's offer. He had a poor start to the season but his last few games for Rovers he was as good as McCarthy. Even Benni rates him as a player.

BTW Mike, I would have pessimism if Sanchez was our boss.
