Could Fowler Do a Job for Us?

Listening to Sky Sports it appears that the Liverpool legend, Robbie Fowler, has no club for next season.

After being released by Liverpool, it was expected that the offers would flood in, that hasn`t been the case.

With no offers coming in from the Far East of the USA, Fowler may be tempted to stay closer to home.

His goals scoring record is remarkable and whilst he`s not getting any younger, there could be an argument put forward suggesting that he could be a good signing for Fulham.

As well as his age, another sticking point could be his wage demands allied with a move away from his beloved north-west.

There again, we`d pick up a natural scorer, a goal poacher and someone who has had considerable success in his career.

You could do a lot worse than Fowler, and I don't think he'd be that expensive. There is nobody better in front of goal than him, getting into scoring positions is becoming more difficult for him however, due to his past injuries and his current age. He'd still do a good job for you.

I'll sit on the fence myself, in all honesty, signing him would make me a little nervous!
Putney
could get you ten goals maybe!

As a Liverpool fan, I hope you don't sign him because I don't wanna see him play against us.
Aamir
Think the wages would prevent him from joining us, certainly could do a job though. I remember his full debut well, he only managed to score 5 against us at Anfield!!!
Zeno
Only five! Years ago I went with some mates from my home town, as Chelsea were not playing, to see them play Liverpool. I pulled Ian Rush out of the hat in the sweepstakes, he socred the first five as Liverpool beat luton 6-0! I won a feckin fortune!
merlin
I would have him.
Mike Forest.
i think we'd only get 4 goals out of him

stay well clear - scousers traditionally do not travel well, and get homesick too easily. he won't fancy uprooting and moving to london, and if he does it will be with doubt in his mind and this will affect his form.

Dales_Dad, McManaman traveled very well when he played for Real Madrid.
