Since Lawrie Sanchez took the Fulham job permanantly, he appears to have ensured a massive shake up has taken place, getting rid of some of the dead wood and most certainly bringing in new players who will definitely bring a fresh spark and new face to the team.
So far Aaron Hughes has been the only player to come in but he is reportedly going to be followed by good friend Steven Davis and Diomansy Kamara whilst also bidding for Jason Roberts.
Now not only would these players reignite Fulhams fading attacking force but the cost of all these signings would amount to around eleven million pounds give or take and Sanchez won't be content at that in my opinion, he will want to strain every last pound he can from Al-Fayeds pocket and so far has been successful.
Now previous manager, Chris Coleman would get a transfer budget even if it was a little bit on the small side and instead of telling the truth to Al-Fayed which Sanchez has done that without some more serious investment, Fulham will go down as I can't keep them in the Premiership every year on a short string budget he just complained childishly through the media.
So maybe Sanchez has told Al-Fayed what needs doing, and Mo has listened and is willing or maybe he has given Sanchez a sizable budget as he does not want to run a Championship club next year, either way it doesn't matter, the fact is Sanchez has got a big budget and is willing to spend it which means that this is going to be a summer full of transfer activity for the Cottagers.
