In the hope of trying to get West Brom fans views on Diomansy Kamara I stumbled across this website, http://www.westbrom.com/wba_latest.html , and posed a question on their messageboard, enquiring as to what they thought about his imminent departure.
In what I was expecting to see fans mourning, I was surprised to read comments such as:
'All barn doors in the Fulham area breathe a sigh of relief....'
'he is just not good enough to go through the better quality defenders.'
'He is a prima donna, he is petulant and if denied a move he will play his face and sulk'
'Get him out of the club asap for the best possible price. If Fulham are willing to pay £5m then more fool them.'
'He didn`t break sweat after xmas or pass to anybody on his own team.'
'He played well when he felt like it.'
'One of the most laziest players to ever pull on an albion shirt. I`m swear he don't know the meaning of the word teamate'
After reading reports that Fulham are offering near to five million pounds for the lad, I am now feeling queasy at the thought of what those five million pounds will bring to the Cottage next season. A mixed bag of goods is what it looks like, unfortunately.
We all ready have a lazy player in Collins John, so if Albion fans are to be believed, it looks as if a partner ship of lazy and lazier could be seen as Fulhams starting two next season, sending opposing defences into quite a lull. Oh dear, and the prospect of Marlon Harewood, Fulham would have the doziest forward line in the premiership, making me feel a tad bit sorry for Brian McBride.
As for my own personal favourite quote,` The man is partly to blame for us not reaching the Premiership' maybe this time next season it will be arranged to 'The man is partly to blame for us getting relegated the Championship.'
I would just like to thank West Brom fans at http://www.westbrom.com/wba_latest.html for letting me use their quotes and would like to wish them well for next season, hopefully with Kamara still with them.
