Hughes signs for Fulham.

Aaron Hughes has today signed for Fulham, becoming boss, Lawrie Sanchez first signing.

This will be a welcome relief to Fulham fans who will now be able to ease the tension on their nuts.

For years Fulham have been calling, no wait, screaming for a quality defender and when Coleman couldn't provide one, Sanchez first signing is a defender.

Hughes experience should prove invaluable to our leaky defence and hopefully this is one of alot of signings to come.

Hardly going to be hard to persuade, possible captain?
Mike Forest.
not sure Mike, lets see how he beds in first.
Putney
I see, appoint a captain, a player who couldn't get in the Villa first team - good move!

*STOP PRESS* Zeno finally has something positive to say:
Zeno
A very good bit of business in my opinion, a defender with a lot of Premiership experience and has battled with the best on the international stage all for only a £1m. Captain or not is irrelevant, whether he played for Villa last season or not is irrelevant, just a good signing to help plug a leaky defence!
Zeno
Hes a decent player. He'll do a good job for yez.
