Roberts a Possible Fulham Target?

After being thwarted in our attempts to sign a new forward, the Evening Standard is tonight suggesting that there could be a new possible target.

Indeed, it`s suggesting that Jason Roberts, of Blackburn, could be a surprise candidate for a front-role at Craven Cottage.

Whilst Mark Hughes hasn`t shown any inclination to sell Roberts, the Standard is suggesting that a bid in the region of £3 million could tempt the Welsh manager to sell Roberts.

That is until Roberts finds out the pay scales at Craven Cottage are not particularly enticing compared to elsewhere or am I just being churlish?

No point in opening the cheque book if you ain't gonna pay the wages!

Out of all the targets suggested so far, he's one I'd like to see playing for us!
Putney
Reminds me of Harry Bayles, like Putney I would like to see him at CC.

Did us proud at the Latics and was sorely missed last season, good presence in the team and a charcter off the pitch. Would be a good signing for you
