QPR turn down Fulham Cook bid!

QPR turn down Fulham Cook bid!

With Mido being heavily tipped to become the first signing of the close season, Fulham appear to have missed out on the signing of a promising player.

Lee Cook, the exciting winger playing for our West London rivals, Queens Park Rangers, is thought to have been the subject of a bid from Fulham.

However, gauging by the feedback received from Queens Park Rangers, it would appear that the fee offered wasn`t enough to entice the Championship side into a deal with their chairman, Gianni Paladini remarking,

"Lee is one of our prized assets and we won`t be letting him go unless the price is right."

It`d be interesting to find out exactly how much we offered in order to gauge how much the Loftus Road outfit might consider to be a respectable offer.

Anyone got any clues?

I'm surprised those tight-arsed hoops turned down your bid!

£3m is rumoured to be the 'respectable offer', seems a lot to me for a Championship winger for a club that hardly set the league on fire last season!

£3m? For someone who hasn't proved himself in top flight football - one hell of a risk but there again prices are ridiculous when it comes to buying English!
