Signing Of Spurs Ace(?) Nears!

Signing Of Spurs Ace(?) Nears!

With the opening of the transfer window fast approaching, Lawrie Sanchez has intimated hat he wants six or seven new faces for next season.

If Fulham are not to face another relegation battle, we`re currently third favourites for the drop, Sanchez believes that the introduction of six or seven new faces will give the squad the impetus to move forward.

Speaking to the media, Sanchez remarked,

"I want competition for places all the way through the season."

Unfortunately, with a reported treasure chest of only £10 million to spend, it appears that Sanchez will have to spend wisely.

After, for many a week, suggesting that David Healy of Leeds, would be our first signing, it now transpires that Mido, of Spurs, will pip him to that honour.

The tabloids are today reporting that the 24 year old has held talks with Fulham and a transfer is in the offing with a fee to be agreed.
