Koumas Update!

After having rejected a bid from Fulham, West Bromwich aim to resist any further pressure to sell their midfield star Jason Koumas.

The Welsh international was, yesterday, reported as being unhappy at being denied a move despite Albion having received substantial bids from ourselves and Birmingham.

Koumas has previously expressed his disappointment at not seeing eye-to-eye with his employers by staging something akin to a strike.

Last season he refused to go on a pre-season tour when Albion were managed by Bryan Robson. However, his agent, Peter McIntosh has revealed that there will be no repeat of such behaviour on this occasion.

Hopefully, Koumas will get his move if Fulham decide to up the offer. We`ll wait and see.

I think Albion are determined to hang onto him - they need him to get promoted. To sell him would simply dent their chances.

good point - although the three clubs who went down will al, in my opinion, struggle to come striaght back up!
Putney
He'll be off, West Bromwich Albion WILL want to hang onto him but they won't be able to. Although maybe my "source" is not looking as good as it might have been, I have been told that he will sign for Rovers for £3.5 million plus add ons. I was also told that this probably WON'T happen until late on in the transfer window though!!!
Hughes Da Man
I'm sure this chap will be off inthe next few days! but where?
