Hughes to be 1st Sanchez signing!

With any move for David Healy held up due to Leeds administration predicament, it looks as if another Northern Ireland international will be Lawrie`s first signing.

Aaron Hughes, currently playing for Martin O`Neill at Aston Villa, will sign in a £1 million deal next week.

The twenty-seven year old previously played for Newcastle and has been at Villa Park for two years.

Welcome to Craven Cottage Aaron.

Can't get in the Villa first team but good enough for you? Says it all!

yawn, yawn, give the bloke a chance Merlin!
Putney
He's a decent player.
Pking
Pking with all respect he is absolute garbage, relagation fodder if they carry on making signings like this.
mackaavfc
he starts for villa
shanghaifulham
no he doesn't, once MON saw how dung he was we loaned Bardsley who started in front of him from January, and that in itself is a clear indication of how bad Hughes is.
mackaavfc
He wasn't too bad at Newcastle but I have to agree with merlin (I'm scared that I'm slowly turning into a Chelsea fan), not really good enough to improve our squad. Zat Knight is better at centre half and we're looking to off load him and Rosey is certainly better at full back!

DON'T SAY YOU HAVEN'T BEEN WARNED :-)
merlin
Decent player and Lawrie should get the best out of him!
