Fulham have sunk to another level of despair this evening by listing in their jobs column on their official page that they are looking for a new , Head of Youth Recruitment.
Yes that's right, Fulham Football Club have offered one of the most important job in a football club to the public.
What is going on with the club I hold so dear to my heart? This is just ludicrous. Who in their right mind would come up with this offer. Yes giving out jobs like Financial Consultant etc is accebtable as alot of people have skills in finance but this is a unique job.
You have to have a strong mind, clear ideas of what you want to do and a plan to enforce these changes but more importantly you need to have an eye for a player who's qualities are on the surface but you just need to bring them out.
As well as all the attributes above, you need to have a strong scout working system which Fulham do not have, you need to have contacts inside the game and you need to have excellent coaches again all of these a member of the public will not have.
Does this mean that Fulham are dis banding their Academy or taking huge financial cuts?
You will be first to find out on Vitalfootball.
