Fulham to complete double swoop?

Wayne Routledge is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur reports Sky Sports News today. Routledge was on loan to Fulham last term, albeit not impressing many Cottagers who complained about his tendency to go missing in matches, loses the ball easily and doesn't track back with his man but I was one of the few that thought Routledge did well in his season long loan at Fulham, considering that he only had a short run of playing a full match which was over Christmas and he really impressed me, at least.

Then Coleman dropped Routledge even though he was one of our best players during Christmas and in doing so probably destroyed the young wingers confidence. The attributes of Wayne will always cause problems for any defence with his pace vital in making him a very promising player. I know if the situation was different regarding Fulham`s position in the league then Sanchez would have definitely given the tricky winger a lot more playing time so maybe the prospect of playing under new management at Fulham and having more playing time will appeal to Routledge as he contemplates what to do next in his very bright future.

Another player that Fulham have been heavily linked with is Steven Davis and with the imminent arrival of ex-West Ham United captain, Nigel Reo-Coker to Aston Villa this more or less signals the end of Davis Villas career. Davis is a nifty player and would do well next to the fans favourite Jimmy Bullard, but will Sanchez stump up half of his reported 10,000,000 transfer budget? This remains to be seen but if he does Vital Footballs Fulham reporters will be the first to let ye know.

Bang ....there go's are natural cover for lennon...****ing joke
lobo spurs nutz
natural cover? Have you seen the boy play? He wants to be lennon and TBH even though I am the yIddiest Yid in North London I don't rate either of them. SWP would have been a great swap deal with the Russians but I fear that time has passed up by long ago! Lobo go support Fulham, then you can watch Routledge get thrown off the ball even more than Lennon. You Cant
Ye don't rate Lennon?
Mike Forest.
Routledge cover for Lennon but no where good as him.
no offence but fulham are proper boring
oh and Buckers about Fulham being proper boring..
The Tailor
Routledge good cover for Lennon who is well overrated IMO (i agree with bullers).
The Tailor
how did that happen - I posted the Routledge comment first and then the agreement with Buckers one and now they are back to front.... freaky 5h1t...
The Tailor
erm no we are not buckers, under Coleman we were one of the most picked clubs by Sky Sports to cover us live as we were the team that would provide most goals for and against and provide most entertainment.
Mike Forest.
People are being way too harsh on Lennon. I say hold onto this kid. No idea why he was allowed to stay on loan all season. Where's the Fulham fans Mike?
only ribbing mike forest....i think i meant ur atmosphere is theres something u cant argue with!! :-)
erm i think the fulham fans are at work klinical, what do you mean by that question? and buckers thats a check and mate move right there.
Mike Forest.
lol although i did have a fiver on u lot finishing top 10 this season it looked good for a while.....
Chill Forrest... I just meant all I see responding is fans of the famous Tottenham Hotspur responding. I for one, am at work. And working hard, might I add! ;-)
I am chilled....
Mike Forest.
So when is Papa Diop leaving then?
I don't think he is. Sanchez wants to build a midfield around him I think. Brown is more likely to leave.
Mike Forest.
it'd be a good deal for Fulham, he's got the potential to be as good as the over-rated Lennon!
we've been invaded by the unwashed from N17! The common people!
sorry! very common people!
unwashed, common - see we do agree on something :-)
routledge can be a good player, at the end of the day, spurs brought him in to be the first choice right winger, and lennon to be his back up. he has had a torrid time with injuries which led to lennon coming in and taking the spot light, and now wayne can not get a word in edgewise. even when on loan he isnt been given a good fun of games start-to-finish to prove his worth. would like to see spurs keep him
Hes very inconsistent but to be fair hes never had a decent run of games to show his worth!
merlin : what are you doin in foolham's site?? aren't you suppose to be in chel*ki site and talk about spurs?
Spuds everywhere, who let them in?
I actually thought we had an agreed fee and didn't take it up when we let him go back, if that's true then surely the Routledge rumour is just paper talk!
