Leeds Deal Opens up Healy Move!

With the uncertainty surrounding the much-criticised takeover of Leeds (and the way it was carried out) now over, a deal for David Healy could now finally be in the offering.

Healy, a Northern Ireland international, has been linked to Fulham for several weeks now. At twenty-seven he is probably in the prime of his career and although he has a year left on his current contract and hasn`t asked Leeds for a transfer, it would seem that the Yorkshire club are keen to cash in on their asset.

With Leeds contemplating life in League One (the old division 3), it would seem that Healy would want to stretch himself in a higher grade of football. However, Fulham are not alone in their reported aspirations in signing Leeds top scorer.

It`s also being reported that Watford and Sunderland are also prepared to make an approach for Healy, however, we here at Vital Fulham would hope that his previous links with our manager, Lawrie Sanchez, may influence his final decision.

We`ll endeavour to keep you informed.

Although many fans think he will be a waste of money, I think Sanchez will bring the best out of him like he did with Northern Ireland.
Mike Forest.
It sickens me to think Leeds will want £1m for him but due to their dodgy dealings will only pay their creditors 1p in the £!

I totally agree and it's about time it was looked into properly!

i feel for those fans who paid top whack hoping to see Leeds stay up only for the board to go into liquidation before the final whistle - what a rip off!
