Fans still Waiting!

Fans still Waiting to See New Faces at the Cottage (by Mike Forrest.)

As every day goes by, the anxiety among Fulham fans grows. Countless posts on message boards discussing rumour upon rumour, debate after debate as to who Sanchez should sign yet all of the rumours, all of the debating is pointless as to no matter how many heated discussions you have as to whether David Healy is of Premiership quality or Steven Davis is worth five million pounds, it is all speculation and nothing concrete.

Of course you have people logging onto a Fulham website just to see if the two infamous sources have made a posting, then when there is no posting the fan is left down and when there is a posting from one of the sources the fan is let down again as the player that has been mentioned by the sources in their opinion is not good enough, and so the cycle continues as it will do for the next 3 months.

This is very frustrating for a fan as they have are left in limbo as to whether Fulham will leave it to the last minute to complete deals and even when Fulham do purchase, the official website will not clarify that a signing has been made until it has been reported by Sky Sports and the like.

So as of yet Fulham have still to sign or even announce a new player, meanwhile I have heard a couple of murmurs going around that the reason we are playing Q.P.R. in a friendly, announced today, is that it is part of a deal for Lee Cook and Ray Jones which I find to be quite plausible and interesting. The chance of having to future England stars on Fulham's books excite me but I think now it`s more important to get a couple of experienced heads on board before Sanchez starts to buy youth.

So only 88 more days of absolute nonsense and boy do I love it.
