Brown Wanted by Middlesbrough?

Brown Wanted by Middlesbrough?

We may have escaped relegation by the skin of our teeth but still the vultures are hovering!

With such a poor season behind us you`d have thought our players were relatively safe and relatively unwanted by other clubs. However, you couldn`t be further from the truth.

The latest to be linked to a move away is Michael Brown!

Brown, who was made captain by our previous manager, Chris Coleman, appears to be the subject of an intended enquiry from Middlesbrough.

Middlesbrough, the team managed by a manager without the necessary qualifications, hope to land the Manchester City fire-brand, Joey Barton.

However, if that deal stalls then the next target on their list is Michael Brown.

Whilst Brown may not be in the world-beating class, it`s his honest endeavour and fearsome tackling that have made him a favourite of the Craven Cottage faithful.

Therefore, we`d urge Michael to make a stand and tell Gareth Southgate and his assorted cronies, to take a running jump if he`s not the first name on their list.

Second best, ruddy cheek of it!
