Fulham Target Hughes!

Once again Fulham appear to be linked with a player that Lawrie Sanchez knows well!

After previously having been linked with David Healy and Steven Davis, both of whom Lawrie has managed whilst in charge of Northern Ireland, we`re now being linked with Aaron Hughes.

The 27 year old, currently playing for Aston Villa, has also played for Northern Ireland, under Sanchez, and is rumoured to have been the target of a £1 million bid.

Hughes, a full back, has lost his first team spot at Villa Park after the arrival of Phil Bardsley from Manchester United.

We here at Vital Fulham believe it could be a case of 'the better the devil you know` as Sanchez seeks to improve a defence that could, at best, be described as leaky last season.

We`ll endeavour to keep you informed.

Surely if he's not good enough for a poor Villa team he shouldn't be good enough for you?

A poor Villa team that held Chelski to a draw twice last season.

Ouch! Guess I asked for that! Carling Cup anyone?
merlin
Pking - nice remark, almost shut him up :-)

Its players like Hughes that make the Villa team poor, hence the reason we are trying to offload. Oh and Merlin are you talking about the Carling Cup that cost you £500m?
mackaavfc
