Liam`s Dad Got Shafted!
It`s not often that a father and son combination both enjoy successful careers at the same club.
However, with Liam emulating his dad, Leroy, and carving out a career at Craven Cottage, you can understand the bond between the two.
Liam has often spoken about the role his dad played in his formative years and therefore we`d imagine Liam is as perplexed as the rest of us when it comes to how Leroy has been treated recently.
After all, not many people can boast of having a managerial role that lasted all of ten minutes. Indeed, if you didn`t laugh at Leroys` plight you`d probably go mad.
After being given the job of managing Torquay, Leroy had barely even thought about which way to progress before the club was sold to a new consortium who promptly installed their own manager.
What was that about football being a funny old game!
