Is 36 Points Enough?

Is 36 Points Enough?

Will thirty six points be enough for survival? That was the question on the lips of the press hacks assembled for the post match interview.

After playing their part in a thrilling 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers, Fulham are still in danger of being relegated to the Championship. With a tough run involving fixtures against Arsenal and Liverpool, the number of points required for safety is questionable.

Here`s what Lawrie Sanchez had to say on the matter,

"Will 36 points be enough to stay up? I certainly hope so but I don`t necessarily think it will be enough"

"I felt before the game that a win would have led us to the promised land but now we need to get some more points."

"The next two matches against Arsenal and Liverpool look very tough but I honestly feel we can get something from those games and not be left having to get something at Boro on the last day, which will be hard."

"Over my career, as a player and as a manager, I`ve always loved the big games when no one is giving us a chance of getting something and we pull it off. That is my forte."

Here`s hoping that trait continues.

Once upon a time the target would have been 40 points?
