Niemi and McBride on Cookie!

With the reign of Chris Coleman now history, the players are starting to finally air their views on what is still a touchy subject.

The first two to step forward are Anti Niemi and Brian McBride, both of whom had nothing but praise for the departed boss.

First up is Niemi,

"Our bad run of results wasn`t down to Chris."

"It is us players who have to look at ourselves and say we haven`t been good enough if late."

"I know it has been a struggle but I never thought I`d see a time where Chris was sacked."

"He has been nothing short of magnificent as boss of this club and I hope people will remember him for all the good things he has done."

Second up is our popular striker, Brian McBride,

"Chris had a rapport with the players and I personally owe a lot to him. This is something we never wanted to happen."

"I have a lot of loyalty to him. He definitely did not lose the dressing room."

One can only wonder why we are in this current predicament!

So the inquest opens with no conclusive evidence of any wrong doing :-)
