Montella Stumped!
Okay, I know it`s a poor headline but I thought it was topical even if Italy know nothing about cricket!
It transpires that our own Vincenzo Montella had difficulties with the security staff at Old Trafford.
After his side, Roma, had been thrashed by Manchester United, Montella tried to make his way into the dressing room to commiserate with his team mates.
It would appear that the security staff were having nothing of it until Montella had the gall to suggest he plays for them!
I know things are bad at Craven Cottage at the moment but not so bad that admitting playing for a side beaten 7-1beats admitting playing for Fulham.
Or am I wrong?
